Through the 2026 giving campaign, we are raising funds to purchase critically needed Endobronchial Ultrasound (EBUS) equipment and technology for the ALH Pulmonology Department. EBUS is a minimally invasive procedure that allows physicians to examine the lungs and surrounding lymph nodes using advanced ultrasound imaging during bronchoscopy. This technology is essential for diagnosing lung cancer, infections, and other pulmonary conditions with greater accuracy and at earlier stages.
By providing real-time imaging, EBUS improves diagnostic precision while reducing the need for more invasive surgical procedures. This leads to faster diagnoses, more effective treatment planning, and better outcomes for our patients.
